Car charger & wall charger & portable charger for PocketPC

Save your money and fun.  (But use your own risk, I'm not responsible for any damage!!)

Test passed: E-200 iPaq3850

This page only prepare picture of E-200 (for iPaq3850, I'll show later, I suggested my brother, he did it sucessfully)

This page show how to make chargers:

1. Charge with Car charger or wall charger

    Due to amp. is lower than original, better plug charger whole night (while you are sleeping) to keep battery lifetime.

    For car charger use only emergency case.

3. Charge with your PC or Notebook

1. Charge with car charger or wall charger

Buy or use your old car charger or wall charger for any mobile phone (I suggest Nokia all series because female connector is easier to find)

Check supply voltage 5-7.2 v.

Buy female and male connector (bring your PocketPC & car or wall charger when to go to electronic shop to check if they are correct size) and soldering 2 point as below picture

then connect to your charger as

2. Charge with portable charger

You can use common 4 AA Alkaline battery  or 5 NiMH (now (Feb 2003) max 1850mA in Thailand)

Or use Seal Battery Pack NiCd 5A 6V.

3. Charge with your PC or Notebook

3.1. Cut unuse USB cable connect pin 1 and 4 to PocketPC connector (idea only! I did not make it yet)

       Notice: (from John cruise, He said that USB can supply at 500mA max.)

3.2. Connect directly to PC power supply (5volt) (This I'm now using at my office)
